The Bike Ed Course is provided by the League of American Bicyclists and sponsored by the Montgomery Bicycle Club. The course is designed for novice to intermediate adult cyclists who want to improve their bike handling skills and become more proficient riding in traffic. However, all skill levels can benefit from the skill drills and class discussions on safety, basic mechanical techniques, traffic situations, emergency procedures, tire changing techniques, and hazard avoidance. The class includes approximately 9 hours of classroom discussion/demonstration/written test and on-the-bike skill drills. The course is fun, challenging, and full of "need to know" information to ride confidently in all traffic situations. For more info and sign up, contact Mike Munk, 334-312-BIKE (2453) or email: bamacyclist@aol.com. Become a better cyclist! Class size is limited so Sign up TODAY and come join the fun! You'll be glad you did! |
