DAILY REPORT: Today was a long day of preparation. The good news was that everyone's bicycle arrived on time and so did almost everyone. Only one rider got caught up in the Denver winter storm problem and didn't arrive until later in the evening, but we got him taken care of by just slightly after dark. the bad news was that 3 helmets were cracked and had to be replaced. Orientation went well and all the bikes look like they are ready to go. Now just hope the riders are. Just being facetious...they are biting at the bullet to get started and we're about ready too. Looks like a great group. I'll have the Meet the Riders section up in a day or two so you can meet everyone.

The weather looks a bit challenging as the heat is sweltering up in the desert. We'll have to be on our toes to get everyone across safely...but that's what we plan to do. Check in tomorrow and see just how we tackle our first set of challenges. See you then.
