This ride starts way out in the west end of Autauga Co out hwy 14 and is only 32 miles in length. The start is 27 miles from Prattville, but it's well worth the effort to get there. The ride starts out with 15 miles of relatively flat terrain and is overall moderately easy with 1 good climb to get on top of a ridge line at about mile 16. While up there you'll have a great view of the valley and rollers until you descend back down to the valley floor. This ride is well worth the drive to get to an area that few around here ride. Difficulty easy to moderate.

Cracker Barrel is located in Prattville at the I-65/Hwy 14 interchange...exit 181. This ride is 57 miles and starts out with a pretty good climb to get your blood going. There are a couple good hills on this route. A great training route and a very scenic ride in the country. A good ride for the fit.

This ride starts out pretty tame, but does have some nice rollers. There's no place to ride around here that isn't hilly. This ride is only 21 miles, but a good workout for the short distance. Difficulty moderate.

Pine Level School is on hwy 31 just north of the I-65 Exit 186 in Prattville. One of my favorite rides...because of Peach Park. The peaches and ice cream are well worth the ride. A couple of good hills to get your appetite rolling and to work off the ice cream. Ride length is 60 miles. Difficulty is moderate for distance and terrain.

Spinner's Park is in West Prattville at the intersection of 6th Street and Lower Kingston (CR 57). This is about the tamest ride ride around here once you get to the river bottoms except for Gin Shop Hill that awaits you starting out. Most people go out and back across Gin Shop and backwards from there to the river bottoms to avoid the hills on CR 86. But the way this is routed, you go by the "cross man" on CR 86 and you'll have some moderate hills for the first half of the ride. Ride length is 18 miles and difficulty moderate for hilly terrain at beginning.

This ride was used on our annual century in 1998. The terrain varies. There are some super flat stretches but there are a couple of good (steep but short) hills to climb too. Nice variety with stores in Autaugaville and Boone. Difficulty moderate to challenging.

This was our century ride in '98. This is not a ride for the squeamish. Distance is 100 miles and the terrain varies from nice flat stretches to steep short hills. The section from about 50 miles to 65 miles is very hilly and the finish from there rolls almost all the way home. There are stores almost every 10 miles to support this ride but take plenty of vittles if you go alone. Difficulty tough! Definitely a ride that's a challenge.
