Fitzpatrick Ramble |
Terrain: Mostly flat to gently rolling with a couple good hills thrown in Distance: 58 Miles Level: Intermediate This ride is a long way out from Montgomery, but it's well worth the drive to get to this area. Bullock County is very rural and scenic and the roads are good to excellent surface with very light traffic. Fitzpatrick is approximately 24 miles east on Hwy 110 (Vaughn Rd) from the eastern bypass. You can park at the intersection of CR 7 and Hwy 110 in Fitzpatrick at the old country store on the left at that intersection (or there’s another one just past that on the right). I’ve never had anything but a great ride in Bullock CO. The ride will start going east on 110. |

Now if you feel like riding a little farther, take CR 176 Left at about the 54 mile point (about 2 miles short of Hwy 110, see map). It goes a little over 2 miles and dead ends into CR 37. Go Right on CR 37 for less than 0.1 mile, then turn Right on CR 185. This road is a little rough in spots, but very scenic. It dead ends into Hwy 110 in about 4 miles. Turn Right on Hwy 110. It’s less than a mile to the store. This will add about 3-4 miles to the route. |
