Maxwell Lunch Ride

Terrain: Flat

Distance: 18 Miles

Level: Easy

These rides are mainly for people at Maxwell who are riding from the base and are tired of riding around the flight line. If you don't have access to the base, I suggest driving out Old Selma Road to any little store along the route and park there. Then pick up the route from there and adjust the mileage.

This is an out and back ride that I usually rode during a lunch hour or right after business hours. Caution, heavy traffic during rush hour makes getting to Old Selma a task for the experienced.

Go out the Bell street gate to the stop light. Go Right on Bell Street. The mileage starts at the light. You can go out the Kelly Street Gate if it’s open and turn right. You’ll be at 0.8 on the route distance. I’m using the Bell street gate because it’s open all the time.
