Terrain: Flat to rolling Distance: 26-30 Miles Level: easy You'll find the Ray Thorington Baptist Church on Ray Thorington (CR 75) in east Montgomery. From the Eastdale Mall, go east on Atlanta Hwy to Taylor Rd. Turn right on Taylor (south) and turn left on Vaughn Rd. Go east on Vaughn for 1 mile to Ray Thorington and take a right. Bear left at the fork just after the turn on Ray Thorington…the church is 1 mile on the right On I-85, go north to the Taylor Rd exit and go right at the end of the ramp. Go to Vaughn Rd and take a left. Go east on Vaughn for 1 mile to Ray Thorington and take a right. Bear left at the fork just after the turn on Ray Thorington…the church is 1 mile on the right This is a popular starting location for weekend club rides and is an area most cyclists use in east Montgomery despite the growing development out CR 75 and the busier traffic on CR 85. It’s not too bad on weekends, but during the week CR 85 now has some truck traffic that cuts through from 231 around east Montgomery.
